I hail from the north-east of Scotland, and after graduating for the second time from the University of Aberdeen moved to Manchester to start a career in insurance. Three years later I moved to Birmingham and bought my flat in Phase 2 in 2006. I love living in King Edwards Wharf – close proximity to all the city centre has to offer; a short and pleasant walk along the canal to work; pleasant and helpful concierge; and despite being only a few hundred metres from Broad Street, peace and quiet. In my spare time you may see me in the gym in Brindley Place, running along the canal, or playing hockey/tennis/badminton.
I became a director of Phase 2 because I feel it is important that as leaseholders we collectively take responsibility for ensuring that King Edwards Wharf remains the most prestigious development in Birmingham, and thereby protecting the value of our investments. I am an Actuary by profession, and I look forward to working with the other directors on the board.
