David Foster

I and my wife Jan are among the earliest occupants of King Edwards Wharf. We moved here from Weybridge in Surrey in September 2001. Prior to retirement from paid employment in 1995, I had worked for many years in various management positions in two of the UK’s largest companies (BP and Cable & Wireless) thereby gaining a wide range of business experience.

In 2002, I was involved in the formation of the KEW Residents Association. After the frustrations of trying (and failing) over the next years to persuade the owners of the original management companies to let residents take over, I was delighted that others took up the battle and successfully managed the transfer of management responsibility.

Now that my other local community activities take up less of my time, I feel able to resume some direct responsibility for KEW activities. I have therefore volunteered to become a Director of KEW Phase 1 RTM company.

We have never regretted moving to KEW, with its proximity to some of the best inner city facilities in the country, and fully intend to spend as long as possible living here.
