Roundhouse Restoration Starts – At Last!

The 1874 Roundhouse on the corner of Sheepcote Street and St Vincent Street is now being restored and converted to provide the local community and visiting boaters with a centre for information on and events at the local canal system.

The Canal and River Trust, partnered by The National Trust, asked the public for ideas on how to use the Roundhouse back in March 2014.

And at last the ideas are to become a reality in Spring 2020.
