Summer Blooms at Winterbourne Gardens 23 June 18

We surely should all rejoice in a British Summer? Especially when the sun shines.

Summer was in full floral splendour in the walled garden in Winterbourne Gardens, Edgbaston.

What is great about Winterbourne is that all seasons and all sub-seasons are presented somewhere in the gardens to their particular extraordinary splendour.

It would seem that all the seasons have arrived early this year and the walled garden is now showing off its magnificent blooms.

Just to wander around and examine each bloom is a highly relaxing and pleasurable taste of nature.

Below is a gallery of photos I took wandering leisurely

  1. Judith Goddard says:

This is florabunda at its most luxuriant. I haven’t visited this beautiful garden in ages and therefore appreciate the chance to be taken there virtually by Geoff’s excellent.photomontage.
