Local Snow Scenes of Today

For those who couldn’t bear to face the “inclement” weather today I’ve put together a gallery of photos I took while risking hypothermia! In fact as there was no wind the low temperature was quite bearable, even pleasant if you donned four layers or more under your winter coat and wore a balaclava or similar and scarf, as defence against the 0ºC temperature.

I was doing well for the first 45 minutes but then the snow fall increased and my right hand got wet operating the camera and 15 minutes later I caved in with near frost bite  and my enthusiasm level went into severe decline and I headed home.

Incidentally today was the best day to visit the Frankfurt Market – absent was the usual weekend throng.
