Fibre Optic Broadband at KEW Seems Near

Hyperoptic 140x120Hyperoptic visited KEW at the end of last year, and it looks like the company could install high speed fibre optic broadband in the near future at our site. Great news!

This news is very welcome for high volume users of broadband, especially as BT have shown little interest in linking up KEW some two years after the fibre optic cabling was installed by their contractors.

Their email to me today reads:

Dear Geoff,

I am delighted to confirm Hyperoptic’s full fibre broadband will be installed at King Edwards Wharf. This will bring the UK’s fastest and most reliable speeds to you and all your neighbours.

What happens next:

As soon as we have scheduled the installation date, we will let you know.

Meanwhile, to ensure you receive a broadband offer that best suits your needs simply click here and update your registration form. It only takes a couple of minutes.

If you do have any questions, please email your dedicated Hyperoptic representative glyn.fordham@hyperoptic.com .

We look forward to connecting you to UK’s fastest broadband service speeds soon.

It appears important to me that the more apartments that register interest in having Hyperoptic broadband installed the sooner we will get it.

If you have already registered:

you need to fill in their “Register Interest Follow Up Form” so click here.

If you have not  already registered:

A leaflet was circulated yesterday about the service and how to register interest by going to hyperoptic.com.

However, if you prefer, you can go to here  to register.
(where it appears that an estimated (mine) 65% of residents may have already registered! It also shows the PROGRESS SO FAR which is very encouraging.)

So, reading between the lines in all this, it seems the date of installation may well be influenced by the number of apartments showing interest (registering).

Over to you.
