The sky this evening over KEW at 20:28

OD4A4487After the thunderstorm there was a wonderful sky.. and a wonderful moon! The storm passed the air cleared the clouds evaporated and peace reigned.

To the south the half moon shone in full glory – to the north the sinking sun created a red cast to the evening slivers of cloud.

Evening can be a wonderful time!

I must say that I’m staggered to see that such detail of our moon can probably be viewed so easily with a pair of binoculars.

My photos taken from core 6 with 400mm lens on Canon EOS 5D Mk 3 camera.
