Morrisons Supermarket – Work Advancing Well at Five Ways Site

Morrisons Logo I now have it on good authority (workers on site) that the construction is actually in its 7th week and is scheduled to be complete in mid September.

Library of Birmingham Tower Crane Removal

This was duly dismantled and removed over last weekend.

Below is a gallery of photos of the construction of the jib structure for the giant 500ton capacity mobile crane used to dismantle the TC2 tower crane; the last two photos show the dismantling.

Edgbaston Reservoir Celebrates Award with Open Day Tomorrow Saturday 18 Feb

The reservoir has recently been awarded Local Nature Reserve status by Natural England,  an Executive Non-departmental Public Body .

You can join the Rangers in celebrating this and discover more about this local site for wildlife. There are a range of activities for all the family.

The event runs from 11am-3pm.
